Organized by New Age Marketing for Tourism NT, in partnership with Tourism Australia and Tourism and Events Queensland, this trade FAM trip was designed to immerse nine Premier Aussie Specialists from Germany and Switzerland in authentic Aboriginal cultural experiences. The objective was to deepen their understanding of Aboriginal tourism across the Northern Territory and Queensland and enhance their ability to confidently promote and sell these unique offerings.

Tourism NT sought to strengthen the ability of Premier Aussie Specialists from the German-speaking market to sell Aboriginal tourism experiences in the Northern Territory. The goal was to deliver an authentic and immersive cultural journey that would both educate and inspire travel advisors to confidently incorporate Aboriginal tourism into their client itineraries.
New Age Marketing initiated the trade FAM and approached/secured Tourism Australia and Tourism and Events Queensland as partners. In collaboration with Tourism NT, we developed a tailored itinerary for the NT portion that combined in-depth cultural immersion with unique travel experiences across key locations. The advisors were introduced to local Indigenous communities and engaged in activities that vividly brought Aboriginal culture to life. Highlights included visiting the Tiwi Islands, where participants met local artists and explored Tiwi traditions, and Kakadu National Park, where they experienced ancient rock art and learned about Aboriginal mythology. The trip concluded in the Katherine region with the Top Didj Cultural Experience, where advisors took part in traditional practices such as fire-making and spear-throwing.
