Tourism NT and Visit Victoria turned to New Age Marketing to help re-establish their presence in Europe following the disruption to long-haul travel. This mission marked their first initiative post-pandemic, with a shared delegation of 22 tourism companies focused on reconnecting with key trade and media contacts across Germany and surrounding markets through in-person engagement.

Tourism NT and Visit Victoria needed to re-establish visibility in a fast-moving, competitive post-pandemic environment. The mission was to reignite destination awareness, strengthen relationships, equip frontline advisors to better sell, and support product managers in increasing program inclusion of NT and VIC tourism businesses and destination experiences. At the same time, media engagement was critical to generating earned coverage and restoring long-haul travel momentum.
New Age Marketing designed and delivered a high-impact Sales & Media Mission across Germany. The program included a travel advisor workshop in Frankfurt, a media lunch in Munich, and the Down Under Summit — a product manager event held atop Zugspitze, Germany’s highest peak. These events enabled NT and VIC tourism suppliers to provide personalized advisor training, pitch stories directly to top-tier media, and connect with product managers from five European markets through speed dating sessions set against breathtaking alpine views. Networking events, such as the traditional Bavarian hut farewell dinner with local cuisine and live music, helped deepen relationships and bring both destinations vividly to life.
