Susanne’s passion for tourism has taken her across continents and deep into the global travel trade. Her love for languages and travel was sparked during an eight-month au pair stay in Marseille, and further fueled by internships in Guilin, China, and a study year abroad in Melbourne, Australia.
With over 12 years of experience, she has worked for leading organizations including Tourism Victoria and, most recently, spent 7.5 years at Bavaria Tourism, where she led the Travel Trade Relations team. She developed and implemented innovative trade strategies, built lasting partnerships, and delivered standout events and training programs to keep Bavaria top of mind for travel professionals worldwide. Her expertise spans key markets across Europe, the USA, China, and Asia, and she’s known for her strategic mindset, cultural sensitivity, and eye for detail. From international roadshows to immersive fam trips, Susanne brings a holistic, forward-thinking approach to trade marketing.
Based in Munich, she continues to explore the world with curiosity and enthusiasm. When not working or traveling, she’s likely hunting down great food—or relaxing with her dog, Taiga.
